With 2 weeks left in our fundraising campaign we've hit the 80% mark. That means only $1000 left till we hit the $5000 mark. We are very blessed to have supportive alumni, family, and friends who have a vested interest in the Carroll University Track and Field Program. Our Alumni donors go as far back as 1957 and go all the way up present day athletes.
The other great news we got last week was from the Witt Family (Cooper Witt '15) saying the will match the $5000 goal if we reach it. They would like to challenge other Alumni, family and friends to do the same.
The team set 3 new records at the CCIW Outdoor Championships this past weekend. The women's 4 x 100m (Mehlert, Bartel, Spencer, Elwing) ran a 47.69, Marissa Wendtland broke her own record in the 400IH with a time of 62.32, and Grant Marton broke his own record with a time of 1:49.26. All of these marks are some of the top in the nation. We have 2 meets left to go and feel more records will fall. We'll continue to update the record boards as we continue to break more records.
Thank you so much for your support. Please SHARE this via email, Facebook and Twitter to spread the word. We're almost there.
