1999 Track & Field – Indoor/Outdoor Men’s & Women’s Midwest Conference Champions

Saturday, April 13, 2019 | 10:30 Meet, 3:00 Recognition

Please join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of Carroll’s record-breaking track & field seasons. In 1999 both Men’s and Women’s teams won MidWest Conference titles for both the indoor and outdoor seasons. We will be honoring our 1999 track & field athletes at a home meet this spring - including commemorative gifts for our 1999 athletes!   Carroll’s home meet will start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 13. Members of the 1999 teams will be recognized right before the 4 x 400m relay later in the event (arrive no later than 3:00 p.m.). Gathering details will be included in your confirmation.

Following the meet, join your fellow Pioneers at Club 400 to continue the celebration.

Join our NCAA Celebration on March 29!

March 22, 2019

Join us as Carroll University honors NCAA student-athletes David Lembke and Grant Marton starting at 11 a.m. March 29 in the Campus Center.

Lembke won the national title in the men's high jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships March 8, leaping more than 7 feet to establish a Carroll University record.

At the same event, Marton became a three-time All-American in the 800-meter dash, becoming one of only two people in Carroll history to make All-American three times in the same event.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to hear brief remarks by President Cindy Gnadinger, coach Shawn Thielitz, Lembke, Marton and Jim Hall, director of athletics. Afterward, there will be free cake as long as it lasts!
