Carroll University Softball

Thank you to the 45 donors who have helped us raise $5,035 to support the program!

February 26, 2019

The softball team played its first three games of the season in the Rochester Dome in Minnesota last weekend.  We played so well, really came together as a team, and beat #10 Luther!!

However, the weekend turned out to be very challenging because we were fighting Winter Storm Ryan, a full out blizzard!  We budgeted for a one night stay in a hotel and just a few meals, but it turned into a four day ordeal, and three nights in a hotel.  The blizzard was so bad they called the snow plows and tow trucks off the roads, and closed everything including the interstates, all roads and almost all restaurants.  Our bus was stuck in a snow drift for a whole day!  It was so dangerous and I'm so thankful that we're back safely and that the softball team is so resilient and willing to be positive even in the worst situations.

With that said, not only did the storm deplete our energy, it also depleted our budget!  Looking to our faithful fans and alumnae to help us out of this budget "storm!"

Any amount you can give would be a huge help as we embark on our most busy and competitive season.  You'll be supporting the best group of women who are so appreciative of the chance to play softball at Carroll.

Thank you in advance for your help and continued support.

Thank you to all the friends, families, fans and alumnae who've been so generous and have already donated to the Carroll University Softball Team!

It is very much appreciated and has already been put to good use.  We purchased new travel backpacks, new warm up pullovers and replaced some uniform jerseys.   All these things were needed so badly and your contributions made those purchases possible!  You are helping to create such a good experience for the players.

While you've been donating, the players have been working hard in their classes in addition to doing some volunteering in the community, supporting our fall teams, hosting a fall camp, and raising money for our program doing concessions.

Our fundraising will become even more important as we approach the 2019 season To ensure a valuable and rewarding season for our student athletes we will be counting on this fundraiser to keep going!!!!  We appreciate any amount donated and will do our best to make Carroll University and all our supporters proud!

Wishing you and your families the best this Thanksgiving season,

With sincere gratitude,

Coach Amy Gradecki and the CUSB19 Softball Team GO PIOS
